WHO IS JIU JITSU (BJJ) FOR?
We often get asked questions such as -
- do I need to get fit before I go and train Jiu Jitsu?

The reality is that it does not matter what level of physical fitness you currently have, whether you are tall, short, fast, slow, flexible or not, big, small, man, woman or child, coordinated or un-coordinated - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is for you. BJJ is for everyone
That is one of the most enthralling things about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - it can work for all bodies and it works for everybody.
Everyone has their own unique physical capabilities that they are able to leverage to make Jiu Jitsu their own.
BJJ is a great first sport, or supplementary sport to get your children involved in. It invokes in the students self-discipline, confidence, coordination, problem solving and the ability to sustain and thrive under pressure.
At Atomic Jiu Jitsu Brisbane we accept children as students from the age of 5 years.
